STPPS LEAP Results Showcasing High Growth

LEAP testing score results from the 2022-2023 school year are in, and we are excited to announce that as a district we have grown by 3% since the last school year!

St. Tammany Parish Public School students are tied for 5th in the state among students scoring Mastery and above on the 2022-2023 LEAP assessments. In the district, 45% of students achieved Mastery or above. The state benchmark for students who are ready for the next grade level is a score of Mastery or Advanced. As a whole the district grew 3% overall in the percent of students scoring Mastery or above. The district grew 2 points in the assessment index, which is one part of the school performance score. 

St. Tammany schools have instructional leadership teams that have set long-range plans based on data and created rigorous school-wide goals. Through the use of professional learning communities and professional development, the school district has created opportunities for teachers to collaborate on a regular basis.
